Audiobook Challenge 2019
This is my 2nd year doing Audiobook lettering challenge. Not only does it help me remember which audiobooks I listen to but it’s great practice designing something I love! As a bookworm and a designer, this is the perfect passion project for me.
I used to read all about Chip Kidd and I thought one day, I’ll be a book cover designer. Then I read you had to read books you didn’t like and I realized maybe that’s not my calling. Instead, lettering book titles has been an amazing project. I use Procreate and Graphic App on my iPad for this project. This allows me to work on each piece wherever I am whether it’s at the office or on the road.
Every 3 title is designed as a set (to make it fit on my Instagram profile). Each set has its own style thus giving me the opportunity to explore and play.
